ABS wheels clarification
« on: October 22, 2013, 07:59:42 PM »
I need some help fellas.  I am wanting to put my set of gen 2 busa BST's on a 2013 abs model.  I have not seen an abs model in person, so I dont know how the wheels speed sensor(s) are installed.  If they are on the wheel, then I know the answer is a simple "no".  I seem to recall someone saying the sensors were in the brake rotors, and if thats the case, the wheels should be a 1 for 1 swap.

any info is appreciated!

abs rings are bolted in side the rotor around the wheel bearing. shouldn't be to hard to make a mount to put on carbon wheel. make an aluminum flange to bolt ring to and epoxy it to the wheel. :tu:
