The biggest problem is you put cheap in your request, to chop weight that may actually make a difference will not be cheap, rear frame section and maybe swingarm is a place to start but unless you can find used and they want to sell, it wont be cheap
The older you get do you notice you start chickening out way before the bike does

How much do you weigh?  That is the cheapest and easiest mod, is to loose weight yourself.  Although, if you are already a toothpick I would advise against this course of action.

I lost some considerable weight off the stock, steel subframe by trimming off the lower part of the subframe that runs to the back.  I did not need it with an aftermarket tail, and it was getting in the way of installing and removing the tail.

R1 wheels are a cost effective mod

I am interested to see any others

I agree...if you have a few pounds that you could lose, it's free and could actually save you money! (Buying less food)

And like magus said...an aluminum subframe which  came stock on the 99'- 00' Busa. It's too bad that Suzuki took the easy way out and went to a steel subframe instead of fixing the problem of the aluminum one cracking at the welds.  :td:

I have a diary of all the weight removed but also include all the weight added back from various items. Most people forget to remember weight added back without realizing it. I weighed everything down to the ounce.

Over the years I laugh how much weight some people claim to remove when the numbers are over optimistic. IE; steel subframe compared to an aluminum. I have seen claims of 10lb difference.....hell no effing way. Try just a tad over 6lbs. All 15 TI rotor bolts front and rear save 4oz.....doesn't sound like much so let's say it saves 1/4 of a pound...What really helps is rotational weight. Most weight lost at the rim of the wheel is where it counts the most (MOI)  but losing any weight in rotation is beneficial. I lost a total of 12 3/4 lbs from the wheels, rotors, bolts, chain and lighter tires. Get BST or Dymag Carbon Fiber wheels and there is another 3lbs but they are just so damn expensive.

I've weighed everything I can using a calibrated hanging fish scale. Good to 50lbs max.

To date my bike has lost 65lbs in race trim still looking functional except no mirrors, horn and using a carbon fiber seat pan. 60lbs with all parts intact.

If you don't need it to be street friendly, there is at least another 25lbs that can be shaved off but then it becomes purely a race bike or street grudge bike. More if you run one front rotor and no rear brake assy, fiberglass front end with no headlight or turn signals, fiberglass rear tail section with no rear tailight assy..........which is dumb on the street IMHO.

A lithium battery will cut pounds (6-8lbs) off your bike for less than $200 which is a pretty good deal price to weight ratio compared to some of the other mods
