I registered. It's too close to home for me not to go. I think registration is already full though.

They sure don't have very many.    The first oil down should cure that.

For some reason I didn't even think they allowed bikes!  I see now where it's at the bottom of the list...

They show the bike safety requirements--but your correct--they don't mention it in the advertisement.  I am registered to run my turbo Busa on Sat. July 5th.

Who got hosed in this deal?  I'm glad I never finished registration.  I knew something was up when I got a phone call saying the computer registration had some problems and then one of the organizers quit.  Today, I see an email stating there will be no refund and they are bankrupt.  I wish them The best through their impending lawsuits

I'm one of the lucky ones that got hosed. Money paid in full. Now the phone number doesn't work and emails go unanswered.

Good stuff.

I've been emailing .  The contacts are
Alex Conley

Battle Creek & kellogg Air field

Barb Haluszka <barb@bcballoons.com>,
 "Miles H. Weaver" <MHWeaver@battlecreekmi.gov>,
 "Larry C. Bowron" <LCBowron@battlecreekmi.gov>

A Class action lawsuit might be nice.  It was fraudulent to accept advance payments without letting us know the event was not  secured.  Regardless of whose fault Battle Creek & the Kellogg airstrip both financially benefited from the Michigan Mile promotion thus they should be responsible for refunding the advanced payments.
Send me your email & I'll forward all my correspondence

I used a Visa credit card to fund the Paypal $207 charge for the July 5th race.  So far Visa has refunded my $207 but it's too early to declare this refund as final.
I really appreciate you following up on this issue,  Justice is important to me.
Thanks for your feedback,

I have approached Barb & the Battle Creek Kellogg Board about the possibility of starting the Battle Creek Kellogg Airstrip Mile.   No feedback as of yet----I'm sure this has been a bitter experience for all of them.  But I do believe it could becomes a respectable revenue $ event for Battle Creek-Kellogg area if the supervisory board condoned the project.
