Nice pics Bud, looks like you had a good time, didn't make it to 4 Wides, bunch of pansy's around had other stuff to do, didn't feel like going that far alone, so mama and I hopped on big red this morning and made a Dragon run, first run of the year is a real workout, talked to 3 dudes from Canada, I guess they were just riding one of there bucket list rides, they wanted to see a few places in the area, I gave them directions, we talked for a while, these were all older guys 60s + easy, and looking at there rides they all had money, then mama and I headed back home, then as we got almost back to town we saw a  ambulance, and a rescue truck headed up there, that's one real bitch that some guys don't realize you crash up there and other than what other riders might be able to do any real medical help is 60 to 90 mins away, and cell reception is iffy at best...... that just something we can do if you ever get out here :)

Thanks bro.Did 270 rough miles yesterday and fought really strong crosswinds for over a 100 of it(had to ride at about a 15-20 degree lean angle and almost pushed into oncoming traffic numerous times, then took a fuckin' wrong turn on the way back and had to backtrack about 20 miles to get squared away ).Still recuperating this morning and feel like I've been beat up from the feet up.

Yea, don't that suck, used to be you could go out and make a run like that, chill out on sunday and Monday morning you'd be good to go, now our old ass's take best part of the week to even recupe a little, running the race car like we used to would be out of the question, your there all day sat, pull out of the frt gate at 3 or 4 sunday morn, service the car on sunday, then get up and go to work, that would not even be funny now, making it till 3 or 4 in the morning alone would never happen,

Jeff, thanks for coming out to Mojave and good to meet you face-to-face!  Awesome pix man!  Sorry to hear that your ride back sucked.

Greg, I think Jim's 212 may have been the fastest N/A pass.  I believe that Dave got a 207 on his bike and my fastest pass was 205.6.

It was a perfect weekend...couldn't ask for better.  Great to see everyone out there.

Thanks Greg.  Yep, that was the goal and I ended up with 6 out of 7 passes over 200 mph.  We were blessed with a great day on Saturday and I think there were about 7 new 200 mph club members for the event.  I still have a few tweaks in mind to make it go faster, but not quite ready for the turbo...yet!

Anyone heard about the Kid?

I talked to him Sat. morning after his pass and he said something about one of the cylinders getting extra hot(around 1900+ degrees?)so he wasn't gonna run it anymore until he investigated the situation.

Great pic's.  Thanks.

Karen and I had a great time.  I'd like to give a big shoutout to Mike Williams and Adam for letting me make a few passes on thier bikes.  I blow'd mine up on the dyno a few weeks ago so I didn't have anything to ride.  I did bring the carcass of an engine to the track for show and tell :hys:  Anyway, I just walked around with big puppy dog eyes and Mike and Adam felt sorry for me.  again, Thanks, you guys are awesome

As always, everyone, both racers and staff were awesome and we feel like we're surrounded by family when we're there and congrats to Mike, Adam and all of the rest of the new 200 mph club members.

Tom and Karen

I ran a 207.4 mph at 8:30 Saturday norning. Crossed the finish in 5th cuz I was geared to high.
I changed my rear sprocket from a 40 to a 42 and went back out and ran a 203.3mph cuz I missed up a couple shifts. Then went out on a third run but forget what happened, 4th run I floated a valve in #4 and messed up the engine. The intake valve is broken and pushed up into the port, and I expect the piston to be quite dinged up as well, the crown of the intake cam lobe is also messed up.
I do not know the failure mode at this time.
I also went out on Jim's bike and ran a 207.8mph and a 209.7mph.

It was a great weekend, can't wait to do it again.

Thanks for taking pic's Jeff!

My first time at the event. Best was a 207.0 with several passes in the 204-206 range the only time below 200 was my 2 licencing passes and when I got hung up between 5 and 6 because of a brain fart. Close to 15 passes between Tom Krause and I over 200.
When I got home pulled the tape off the lights threw the plate on and went for a ride.
BTW Krause went 207.6 on his first pass on my bike. :thumb:
Shane San Miguel went 212 something.
