« on: April 18, 2014, 11:14:31 PM »
Guess I should of posted here...

Rode the bike all day and an oil leak arises...

This is right above the clutch rod seal in front of sprocket...

Thoughts?

Thanks.

Yes, but has been together for 5~6 months... This happened yesterday.

Thanks.

I have seen that from a piece of metal or rock getting flung into case at speed...

That is a big bend in the crankcase, and a wide/long crack. The pic does not show any obvious signs of an impact.
My guess is that the bearing was not indexed on the pin during assembly, and when tightened it has overloaded the case. It is possible that it was not through-section initially, but has progressed to allow oil through. Inspection on teardown should reveal the cause.

That happens when you piece cases back together without lining up transmission shaft dowels with case recesses..
