Any updates?  I saw Jennifer Robertson ran a 216 on a 201 record.

Any day on a motorcycle like this that ends just needing parts and labor is a good day.

Congrats to Jen, that's wicked fast considering the winds I see on the weather sites.

Any fast cars? This was the Hot Rod meet.

Hey guys.
We got home last night. Good to see everyone at the track again. Always nice to catch up with everyone.

Not a lot for us to report. Jennifer made one pass early Saturday morning. John posted the slip. 216 into a 22-23mph direct head wind(according to my handy dandy wind gauge). We wouldn't have ran at all except she had a lot of family in from out of town that wanted to watch her run. It's not that the head wind is unsafe. Just not great for going really fast.

The wind shifted about lunch time and was coming across the track. Racing was held and never restarted Saturday.
Sunday was more of the same head/cross wind all day. We didn't make any passes sunday. Just too windy.

At the end of racing Saturday Jennifer was the fastest vehicle of the meet at that point. I'm not sure about Sunday(we didn't stay til the end). I know one or two cars were running very close to her speed. They may have passed her. Not real sure.

A few very fast cars there. Lots of cool stuff. Not sure who won the hot rod magazine shootout(again, we didn't stay).

Still a fun weekend. Too bad the weather didn't cooperate. Oh well, that's racing.

I would also like to give a big congrats to James Hight!!! 202.2 on his NAKED turbo GSXR 600 in the head wind. I think he is the first naked 600 ever over 200mph. AWESOME JOB!!!!  :tu:

It was great to see everyone again after almost 8 months of winter.  Saturday was blustery to say the least.  12mph at finish, 6mph at starting and 10-32mph gust crossways at the timing tower.  Was hideous for the bikes.  Some of the smaller bikes couldn't even get the Rev's up to where they needed to shift.  Greg Neal put the little bike away after 1 run and just ran the 600.  Sunday started off rough with timing light issues for 2 hours then we ran until the line was empty.

The June meet will be great.  Registration just opened.  Please go here and check us out.
