Advance Pic's of the 300mph or Bust "Flying Tiger" LSR bike
« on: April 30, 2014, 08:17:55 AM »
Sorry it has been so long since I last visited SH.org  No excuses, I will try and be better in the future.  here are a few pic's of the "Flying Tiger" with her new bodywork from AirTech Streamlining.  She spent a year at AirTech while bodywork maker Kent Riches made and re-made and re-fined our new bodywork to be able to travel at ultra high speeds.

The canopy is being manufactured as we speak by Lief Gustaffson from Gustaffson Plastics in St. Augustine, FL.

Hope you all enjoy.

You can read about the making of the "Flying Tiger" here

I’m glad to see that your project is progressing Guy.  So much work and determination to create a machine like that.  When do you plan to run it for the first time?

Dean, looking good my friend.  No, my bike has not gone 300, it hasn't even been on the course yet.  baby steps.  When we go fast, we will be very fast.  Time and patience is our mantra.  Bill proved that it could be done in the 1.5 and died trying to go the mile.  Many of us in the LSR community believes it is achievable but not without its heartaches and glory time.  My very first goal is get my AA license.  After that, we'll just see how far we can push it.  baby steps.
