Brocks clutch mod , welded clutch vs MPS or Carpenter clutch ring

I have a Gen 1 and I'm Trying to get my clutch setup. MPS and carpenter say they do the same thing as  the brock mod or welding your stock back torque limiter. Anyone have any experience with both? Any feedback would be appreciated.

leave it stock and add three hd springs
