This kind of sets the scale of what has been done,
and what might be possible.
In about 2000, I ran a
TOTALLY STOCK 2000
year hayabusa at the Maxton mile.
Stock air-box, and air filter. Engine and everything
else untouched except
1-tooth bigger on the front.
Two(2) back-to-back runs at 192.+++ mph.
That's the "stock baseline.
You done good, no doubt about it!!!
The Busa stock motor top dog is Brother Bob Sellers
and he definitely gives you something to shoot for:
Oct 2012 – 209.0 at Texas Mile (personal best in the mile on his bike, no motor mods)
July 2012 – 20x.x at Wilmington
Aug 2009 - 214.x Loring (1.5 mile)
Mar 2009 - 206.x Texas Mile
Oct 2008 - 198.x stock Texas Mile
Based on my experience, I would think that bike MIGHT
have run 194.5 MPH at the 1.5 mile Loring event.
I think a better exhaust system might have been
good for 2-3 mph.
Using the "best" modified-class bodywork might have
been good for an additional 5 mph.
Using the best "special construction" bodywork might have
been good for an additional 10 MPH
OVER the Modified class bodywork.
So: Stock mike with pipe and excellent bodywork
should be good for 210 mph on your bike.
Good luck !
