It's hard to believe it's been a year since Bill left us. I hope everyone has a safe and peaceful day.  Dean

A racer like no other (and I mean no disrespect to all the fine racers I know). Bill was just unique in his lifestyle which allowed him to focus on racing entirely. I doubt the World will see the stars align again anytime soon. I read through all the posts I could find, both laughing and crying. We became accustomed to his 250 nakeds and 272's anywhere then the biggies. History will show how extraordinary they were. Miss you my friend, you left your mark.   LSL
All motor all the time and a turbo now and then.

I do miss Bill. He gave me lots of good advice, at Bonneville and on pavement. At Loring, two years ago, he made a clutch pushrod out of apiece of dowel rod, for my bike. Its still in the bike. I bought two new ones but I keep the one Bill made in the bike. :thumb:
