Brock's is loud. Too loud for a daily rider in my opinion.
But I just got it dyno tuned with the Brock's so it's staying on.

I had a Brocks Gen 3 Ti system on my 04, and loved it.  That was the full can, not one of the Alien heads or the SMEG, like pictured above.  Those are too loud for me.

On my Gen2 I had the CT1 system, fit perfectly and was slightly louder then my 04, but not obnoxious at all

Running the short street meg too. Don't understand the shoe remark. I wear size 14 shoe and the pipe goes well beyond it. It's louder than most, but I watched a tech ride my bike around from the shop one day and in a neighborhood environment you shouldn't have a problem. Now if you run 40 MPH in first gear through the hood at 3 A.M., well don't blame the pipe. I've been running this thing since '08, no complaints from neighbors and several compliments. Gated community. It is a loud pipe. It also dropped 37 pounds off my bike and added close to 15 ponies.

Bump for Brock's Short Meg...if it's too loud for the neighbors, you can plug this in the end:

http://www.brocksperformance.com/Show-Polished-Noise-Reduction-Plug+I900201+C9.aspx

If you run on the track, you can pull the plug or the whole baffle and listen to it bark like an angry dog.

They are really great to have. I have had a CBX on mine for the last six months. So my old azz is back to wallowing around on the floor.
