Another milestone passed - Becci Ellis first past 250mph - and 260!

I know it's already been reported in the Elvington thread but COME ON FOLKS - this is a big deal!

Becci Ellis - fastest woman in the world today, first past 250mph, first past 260mph. Makes me proud to be British!

Another day tomorrow, and only 5mph to go to beat Big Frank's 265 to be fastest in the UK outright.

Without a doubt a tremendous accomplishment. I was so pleased to read about her speed in the other tread. Hopefully she can push those boundaries a bit further tomorrow.

This is a PERFECT opportunity for someone to post
pictures (suitable for framing) of Ms. Ellis and her team !

1) Ms. Ellis, in ONE season, has increased the "woman's record"
by more that 20 MPH, possibly the biggest annual increase since 1978,
more than almost 40 years !

2)  With a time of 264 .1 MPH, Ms Ellis is now one of
the TEN FASTEST sit-on bike riders in the world !

Franks 265 mph was over longer course,I was there to witness it but Becci is now the UK all comers fastest in the standing start mile. :tu:

264.1 isn't a milestone ... it is a major accomplishment!   240 is very difficult.  250 is extremely difficult.  260 is nearly unattainable.  264 is a lifetime accomplishment.
