312 MPH 1,300 HP Guthrie Levie Racing takes off the Gloves !

With two (2) engines and from 2,300 cc to 3,200 cc available,
including alcohol,nitrous and turbo, we anticipate at least
1000 RWHP in a trim that allows pretty good reliability, and
1,300 RWHP "for emergencies."

Right now, we have excellent drivetrain reliability,
and expect to soon have the traction issues dealt with.

Aero in the wind tunnel is coming soon.

An innovative design to be sure. Will it work? Time will tell. Having experience in both the 311 range and twin engines I can say that things change radically as the speed increases. No doubt 311 was "easier" on pavement than on Salt. God didn't give us a chance to make that comparison. Tires, aero stability, two big factors to conquer; HP is the easy part. Good luck to the Guthrie team on Salt and the Caputo team on pavement. We all know who will be the first to congratulate their success. Probably be a thunderbolt from above with two wheels blazing.   LSL

Pretty cool stuff. Good luck with it !! Hopefully the salt will get back to how it was back 03-07. Sorta like a stucco texture but graded!! Every year it gets worse and worse. Who knows how much longer it can be a coarse to race on safely and effectively?
