Peg Mod for 2014 Busa
« on: December 12, 2014, 08:42:08 AM »
Sorry if this has been discussed before but I couldn't find a thread on it right away. My question is I'm 6'5 and would like an extra inch of legroom on a 2014 Busa. Are there a set of after-market footpegs out there that I can buy that are compatible with a 2014 Busa that will give me alittle extra legroom and where could I purchase them from?

Pretty sure Joe still sells the modded Buell pegs.

Just remember(if your bike's lowered)to keep your foot above the shifter when making a tight left turn, folded my toes back a couple of times before I remembered.

I use the Buell touring pegs. I wear my cowboy boots when I ride, With the stock suspension the bike bounced and skated around and I had to watch my toes also. With the new suspension I do not have a problem. Also I took off that steering stabilizer Thang. Now I have a great riding and handling Busa.

I am only 6'1' but with the stock pegs, I do get a consistent cramp on a Busa in my left leg, the one with the split kneecap.  If my feet were a bit farther downward, and even forward a tad. I feel sure that would help.
