"Hayabuggy" instrument panel not working
« on: January 27, 2015, 09:36:03 AM »
Hi!
My name is João, I´m from Portugal and even though I´m not an Hayabusa owner, I´m an Hayabusa engine user!

I recently bought a buggy, and I´ve adapted an Hayabusa engine (I gess 2000...) to it.
I think all the electronics between engine and instrument panel are correctly connected, but the RPM and speed indicator are "dead"...
Can you help me find the problem?
What are the parts responsible for this functions to work? Are they hard do replace? Are they expensive?

Hope you can help me

Thanks

I would say your senor is bad or not hooked up on the sprocket cover.

Are you using the stock ECU and the Busa instrument panel? RPM feed is direct from the ecu and speedo reads from sensor on sprocket cover.
