99 Busa snappy clutch
« on: February 24, 2015, 05:45:19 AM »
Howzit, difficult to explain, when I try to pull away in a hurray my clutch snaps, so reving above 2500 and letting the clutch go makes it jump or snap. Everbody in rsa says new complete clutch or start with the plates and go on from there, I'm not completely stupid so when I took the clutch apart I found that the bolt plate that holds the springs in place is loose or it's got play on it, and the center plate, it has three splines also has movement on it, could this be the problem? Is it only the 99's that have this and is there a solution to this? Please help before I do my nut...

Busa has a back limiter that causes this, you can get it welded or buy one already done.
