AEM in tank fuel pump, HELP !!
« on: March 11, 2015, 04:31:59 PM »
I've got a AEM  intank fuel pump in a 05 Busa . It starts and runs for about 5 min , but then dies unless I rev the motor .
I couldn't get the plastic piece up under the rubber grommet on the fuel pump . Is this it ? If so , how do I make it fit ?  Thanks !

Try running it with the fuel cap loose
Any day on a motorcycle like this that ends just needing parts and labor is a good day.

Yup. The tank needs to get some air put back into it to replace the fuel that went to the engine, or it will create a vacuum in the tank. Should be a vent in the cap area,
