Won't the smaller rear sprocket lend itself to "skipping a tooth" under hard acceleration or engine braking? Personally, I would opt for the 19 up front, or if it is a turbo, even a 20...............that would allow a larger rear sprocket than a little 36. The more sprocket surface area you can run in both locations, the less of a chance of skipping under load and both sprockets will likely last longer. IMO.
