Brenda set the mile record @234, and the 1.5 record@ 239 at the Mojave Mile today! She was suppose to do this with the NEW bike!!! I guess she couldn't wait!! Congrats on a great performance! ! How fast will the new one go? 240??? Impressed with your riding!!!

Yes, it is outstanding! I know how much power you have to make to get deep into the 230s and doing it N/A is incredible. And heck of a rider, too!! and we still have today....

There was a tail wind on Saturday, when she went 234 and 239, but on Sunday Brenda went 236 into a slight headwind when others lost a bunch. So with only a few passes under her Tutu, she proved her abilities. Besides your handed whatever weather conditions are thrown at you. If you ran your career best with some tailwind or 60ft DA, your going to be happy that YOU WENT!! The only people that would say oh well they had a tailwind or 30.99 barometer and 60ft DA racing conditions. They didn't go! That same motor is the one I went 235 @ Loring in 09, with a blue bottle bolted on but never turned on. I'm very happy for Brenda Sue to get her feet wet on the non Aero bike. Now to ride the Guppy motor pavement bike that she just took delivery of when she wasn't even home, good luck and ride safe and smart just like you have been.

Totally agree Steve! Everyone gets the same conditions the day of the race. Sometimes the weather is good. Sometimes its not. It's that simple. We all hope for a tailwind when we go to the track. Thats just part of it.

Let the haters keep on hating.

Thanks everybody we appreciate it. We were almost as proud of the 236 as the 239. The people who matter, meaning the people here and Racers, know that weather conditions are a crap shoot. How many tomes have we fought the wind at Texas and Mojave. Once in awhile we get lucky and get still air or get a tailwind. The 236 totally legitimizes the 239. Brenda Sue rocks.

It certainly seems that Brenda has arrived - and in style.

She sets her own goals, rides hard and well,
takes her "lumps" in stride, and continues to race even harder.

At 239 MPH normally aspired, she is on the verge of great things.

There is not much more to be done to go seriously faster N/A
- unless she is ready to go after the teams "unbeatable" 250+
record on the salt. A lot of work for an extra 15 or so MPH.

It is time for the Turbo.

Becci Ellis, the record-setting grandmother from England,
recorded at 264.1 mph last year, and backed it up this year.

Brenda's team helped put Bill Warner over 300 MPH

Can Brenda beat Bill ?

I don't think she is interested in going as fast as Bill. Going 240 first, then after seeing how much effort that takes and if she is still comfortable with that level of speed I would think 250 in the 1.5 would be a major accomplishment. After that there is nothing to prove.
