It does not cost a dime to set up your own front fork suspension - just follow the suggestions on the literature you were directed to above.
If you're really serious, I would recommending sending the forks out to "Traxxion Dynamics". I have had great results with their work in the past and I think I am gonna have Rodney send mine out to them while the bike is in little bits and pieces this winter. They take the stockers and completely redo everything, springs, dampening, oil, rebound, seals, all of it and you get a professional set of front shocks back set for your weight. Nice to have. In addition to a good rear shock, of course,..........stocker goes in a box on the shelf in the garage.
