Suzuki funny bike

My friends old funny bike he don't ride it much keeps it @ his shop.
The bikes kinda dated used 2 be in top 10 IDBA  funny bike class.
Mr turbo with 3 stage NOS  kosman frame has been 7.01 @ 196mph

Love those six-pot brakes on the turbo bike.  Love the times/trap speed as well.   :tu:

I know not up 2 speed with todays top bikes back in 80,s that was pretty good 4 a guy with no sponsors.
I think star cycle built it back then prostock bikes were going mostly 7.20
There were some funny bikes hitting 6.90 they had more $ 2 play with than he did like orient express,Tery Kizer,
Chris Iovine the bike owner been big help 2 me with bracket racing bike,
I get tires mounted his shop he has computer spin balance he does repair and buy+sell on bikes.
I remember David Schultz back then hes my favorite all time bike racer

Pro-Stock bikes from the mid 80's were only running mid to low 8s,when the likes of Terry Vance,Pizza John and Schultz were competing. They were trapping 150-160mph.  My memory is fading but they most definitely were not running in the 7.20s :tu:

top gas-8.20
super comp-8.60

Beautiful bike. My old boss George Bryce built and raced Funny Bikes until he switched to NHRA PSM in 1987. That was the year the very first seven second pass took place by Terry Vance. Second qualifying pass at Indy on Friday night. I was there.  :D :D :D

Didn't he work 4 star cycle? I know the name he built some the best drag bikes around back then.
