Well, I thought I was going to be there until my transmission vented the cases today.   :(

I guess I will never run there with a tailwind.

That sucks Ransom, sorry. Maybe that explains your shifting issues? Hope the damage isn't too bad.

It sure does, the bike was trying to tell me what's wrong, but I didn't listen.  I'll pull the motor early next week and see how much damage is done to the transmission.  I already know that it took out both the lower and upper cases.  I'm just thankful to God it didn't happen on the track at full bolt.

We won't be there this weekend Fred. This weekend is our big company airshow. That will keep me busy. I'll be at an airport this weekend just wont be piloting a motorcycle...

We will be there in July for the half mile race. I love the half mile stuff!  :tu:

My best pass today was 222.66 mph.
It will probably be my best of the weekend because of changing conditions for tomorrow.

And that was done on a '01 GSXR, none of that fancy new fangled super bike stuff...  :D

Plus, Scott did I believe 3 or more runs in the 221-222 range.

You are kickin' butt Scott, nice work!  Is your NLR system air-air intercooled, or air-water? Do you know your intake temps? You're going 220+ with only 12 psi, look out folks  :tu:  Dean

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate it!

I was fastest bike by default. I'm really bummed about Ransom's bike. With Saturdays conditions, I KNOW that he would have broken the 240 barrier, the only question would have been how deep into the 240's...

Dean, my bike is air to air intercooled and I do not know the inlet temperatures. It is a very old set-up that's tuned with a Yosh EMS and silver box.

The first time that I raced this bike was in September of 2012. I left that weekend with a best run of 207 and an entry into the 200 club.
I have not touched the engine or turbo (boost) at all since then. All of my gains have been through the knowledge that I have gained through all of you great LSR racers. Better aerodynamics, the reduction of friction, the reduction of drag, body position, and I've really worked on my riding and mental approach.
