I might make it as a spectator Dan, but the bike is focused on Bonneville. I bet you and both boys can make it into the half-mile 2 club  :tu:

Pretty sure Greg and Kim are going to be shooting for BMST  and WOS with Cooks spectating. With our west coast dock strike there is an 8 week backlog awaiting at ports so Greg sending no bikes. Will go with 750 and Busa we hgave here.

Wow!  I haven't experienced low numbers of racers like this since early at Maxton.  Just got back home from tech and it looks like we will have less than 30 at this event.  Plenty of runs for all!

I'm a little surprised by the small turn out.  I thought folks would be interested in seeing what they can do in a half mile.....I know I am.

My slip is in the trailer, but I believe it is 206.8xx.  I didn't re-gear for the 1/2, as soon as I would shift into 5th I was in the traps.

And boy does that 1/2 mile comes up quick.

Great job to everyone that went out there and went fast.  :thumb:

We were planning on going but had some family stuff that came up at the last minute and needed to be taken care of. I seriously hope they have another 1/2 mile meet next year. I know the turn out was low but sometimes it takes a while for things to catch on.

They should try to get the 1/2 mile clocks/speeds working for the 1 mile events again. That was nice when they had that.  More data is better for everyone.

I like the 1/2-mile event but honestly think this event is just to close to the holiday and hard for many to get vacation off.  At least for me and everyone in my family and field. :D

It would be great to have 1/2 and 1-mile speeds at normal events though... :thumb:
