2000 ECU change
« on: July 06, 2015, 12:02:53 PM »
I have a friend who has a 2000 busa , he wants to change the ECU from a 16 bit to the newer 32 bit ECU. He knows that he has to change the rotor and so on . Question is, there any wires that need to be relocated , or is it the same as for the 2001 busa plug and play ?

    Thanks ,

no the 2000 needs wires changed at the ecu connector  ,
numbers are on back of the plugs at each end of the row of wires
2000 pin 26 , or/y moves to pin 19 position on the smaller connector

2000 pin 22 bk/gn moves to pin 33 on the other connector

some have swapped the cam position wires , not sure its needed
there no 3 and 10 on the small connector
and i would try removing and plugging the vac line from the throttlebodies to the regulator, later in tank pump and reg had no vac referencing and mapped accordingly
