Looking for a dial bore gauge....
« on: July 25, 2015, 09:25:05 AM »
Morning,

What are you guys using for crankshaft bores, and big end rod bores ?.  For use with and without bearings.  Starret, Fowler.....?  Looking for something accurate in .0001's.  Doesn't need to be cheap, but doesn't need to be prohibitively expensive.

Also, needs to have a handle that get's all the way to the center main bearing......8" from the stator end, and 9 1/2" from the timing chain end.

Just want to have a decent tool for making sure of things on these beautiful motors !!!  :tu:

Thanks for the read !!!  Adam

We use a Mitiyoyo that reads in tenths. I will post the part number tomorrow ( if I remember)  You may want to message me to remind me.
