Who is that on pic number 112 ? Did it go fast ?
If you are talking about bike #7625, that is Don Haas on the new bike. As far as I know this was their first time out with it. Speed I heard was 223mph.

How should it be done then ?  :D

That was the one, bike nr 7625, the fairing looks like either it`s going to go fast or it takes on wind and goes off track. And i presume there is plenty of power.

Don's shooting for 300 in the standing mile. This last weekend was just initial shakedown runs to gather data. The bike's not even finished yet.

Hello all !  The bike started as a bare frame ... It was raked 5 degrees  .. Has a Trac arm that I braced ..the turbos are from Comp Turbos ... I tryed to balance the bike as best I could ... Yes it does have nose weight ... but it seemed to not bother it .. It also has a belly tank for the intercooler .. Which balances out some of the nose weight ... Steve Knecum built the engine and Shane T is doing the tuning ...

Thanks guys. The bike ran great all weekend. We are creeping up on the speed we want to be running.

Big congrats to Fred and Scott who both also ran personal bests this weekend.  :tu:

The Hass -Serafini machine is a thing of beauty. That thing is going to fly! It looks like its going 500mph just sitting there. Great job guys. Can't wait to see it run again.

The bike is still a work in progress. We are very pleased with the data we got this past weekend. We have some minor issues to work out. That was expected on this type of build. As for HP numbers we are not sure. It made 564 at 18psi anything after that we couldn't get traction on the dyno. The bike is capable of more horsepower then we will ever use or the engine can handle. We will be running a couple more times this year just trying to learn as much as we can.

I wish you the best of luck, and said a prayer for your safety and success.

I can tell you how to make pulls over 500 hp, successfully.  I have done hundreds.  Literally.

OK, one run went bad.  That was my fault and something I neglected to do on the checklist.  All on me.

See pictures of my back.  And laugh.

Dave O, RIP, taught me me well.  And Richard from RCC.  Both geniuses.

I have a checklist of approximately 20 things to do.

I would be happy to share it with you.

I wish you success and good fortune!

I would like to know the ratios , however......  and a few more things regarding engine construction.  I also helped develop studs and rods used on high HP busas.

Best of luck

Well done Ryan. I know Bill is pleased his trophy went to a friend riding down 311BW Blvd.. 250 is still an exclusive club, it takes a good bike and rider to do it.
Don: You and your partner have created a beautifully engineered bike, doing it your way. I commend you for your measured approach to gain speed through knowledge. That's what got the number you are aiming for. Good Luck.  LSL

Thank you Les, Larry, and Don. I really appreciate it.

The bike still has a lot of potential left in it. We may try and make it back for the fall event. I only have a handful passes on the bike so I still have tons to learn and improve on.
