Front looks too heavy with that GSXR tail.

I like the first and second pics, and the wheelie is neat also.  When I get mine back, the hump will be put on it.  With the rear wheel 4" further back, that hump will make the bike look more complete/balanced.

As a Busa owner and a guy who has worked on and raced them for years, I still think they are all horrible looking. Always have been to me.

Making power, good to go....good looks, pick something else.

Good thing I don't pick a bike for its looks :-)
Any day on a motorcycle like this that ends just needing parts and labor is a good day.

Red's Busa is 4-6" over and I don't know of any SWB guys in our area who can hang with him in the corners. :tu:

Some cornering, but mostly sweepers and doglegs, no hairpins.  4" should not kill the ability to ride a few corners.  I would hope. Bike will have Brock's remote reservoir (compression and rebound dampening)  shock on it set for my weight.

Yes I’m afraid I only do strait lines.  Most guys out here that do corners end up taking a helicopter ride.

also lost about 12 lbs going this route

To me the end of the bike should be the body work, tail section, not the rear tire.

A Busa is not a bike for "The Dragon".  It is a Sport bike that can be ridden from coast to coast and back again (with a good, higher set of bars) with the limited ability to take Corners, up to a point.  It varies with the experience and skill of the owner/rider and his or her experiences. IMO, it is a great bike for long sweepers at speed, as long as the rubber is good.  And yes, it is a straight line missile, especially when the motor has been "breathed upon" by one of the big, reputable guys/shops in the Industry............a man that can tune............a man that can squeeze every last HP out of it without building a "hand grenade".  Men like Johnny Cheese and Rodney Williford and a dozen more.  But, these guys do not grow on trees.  Ya gotta find 'em, do "bike speak" with 'em and trust them with your most precious possession.  Once again, I say, "Quality does not cost, it pays."

I saw a new gen2 Busa with BST's, a Brocks pipe with carbon fiber tip, and handlebars instead of clipons tonight....it was missing an engine, cooling system, and fairings though...

Here is an eye catcher.  Love the Ram Air scoops but would not paint the windscreen............might have the windscreen chromed with one-way mirror coating so you could still see thru it........that would be trick.

What bike is that underneath all the customization and parts swaps, seriously, is that a busa or a tiller or what?
