Whats the difference
« on: December 14, 2015, 10:36:23 AM »
Hi Does any one know the difference between Gen1 and Gen2 clutch springs. Im after some stronger ones to go with my welded center, APE list two different sets and of course my Gen1 set is much more expensive. I thought the clutch on both 1&2 were the same.

Yes there is a difference between the 99-01, the 02-07, and the 08-current.  Springs and plates are both a bit different - info from Brock's performance just now.

spring posts are longer on a gen 2 so springs are not interchangable without some homework on installed height and coil bind
