I know a guy with a 60inch  setup be he is about 155lbs. I don't believe  his setup  would work for you but I could ask him if you like?

You really dont want alot of boost to launch the bike.  Start off with the least amount of boost as possible and then ramp in the boost gear based or time based.  What controller are you using?  That makes a big difference in applying the boost smoothly.

I'm running a ams 1000. Was going to run spring pressure until I can get my clutch and shock dialed in. Was thinking of running 18 40 gearing as well. What are your thoughts on this?

The ams will do what you need it to do.  Set it to time based rather than gear based.  What spring do you have in the wastegate now.  I would use a 5-6 spring.  You will be fine to learn the bike with 18/40 gearing but you will probably end up with 18/45 or so.

How much weight should I put up front as far as ballast goes? I will be curtrail tank so that will help. I was thinking about 100 pounds distributed on the front. Under front fender, bottom of forks, tip of nose,in the bottom of ram air tubes.

My buddies 60inch is a cut seatrail bike. No extra weight is added just what ever he needed on the bike was moved forward, like battery behind the headlight and such. He has changed the bike several times and i am not up to date on his current setup. He is trying a couple different things and i know from  a recent track day he switched to gear base on his ams to get it down the track. Time based is alot smoother but if you mess around and wheelie or back pedal that timer doesnt stop adding the boost lol.

I wouldn't add 100lbs to the front of the bike.  With the technology of todays clutches, theres no need to add ballast.

Unsprung weight up front - on the fender - asks a lot more of your suspension, unless you are completely strapping the front down.

the front will be strapped. yes the clutches are way better than before but I will have to tune it. I may just  see how she acts before I start adding ballast.
