Bill Warner's Birthday
« on: February 11, 2016, 02:52:51 PM »
Happy Birthday Wild Bro.   8)  Looks like there are four coming after your records this year. They might actually get one too. No not Those records, the naked record. That was set way back in 2009 before you started using fairies.   :hys:  With the Salt Flats out of salt, Steve and I have been doing a little drag racing. On a Kawasaki no less. Steve got right to the 8.0's but now we are building a light chassis to go quicker, all motor. So how about you drag out the V-Max ?  Think you can do better ?  heh, heh. Probably take you a week then the turbo bug will bite. Pro/Street next but still not enough. Pro/Open that sounds like your class. First to 230? nah,  set the bar high 250 in a quarter mile. Hell that is so close to Korrys' 255 go for it.   Titanium frame, Bill built CF body, billet alky motor, etc, etc. I'm sure you can get great ideas from Elmer & Russ. That's the plan now get to work.  Miss you my friend.   :thumb:   LSL
All motor all the time and a turbo now and then.

Thanks Larry for the fine post.

I was visiting with Mark Gordon a few days ago and we were reminiscing about Bill & talking about how much we miss him. Even though I didn't know him as good as a lot of folks, it was enough that I think about him often.

Happy Birthday Bill.

It's really nice to read stuff like this. It shows that LSR hasn't become so big that people forget where they came from. It makes me want to be a part of this, I have much admiration and respect for the tight knit group of LSR's  :thumb:

I been getting down working on my bike to get it ready for OHIO. I was getting frustrated and saw I had been wearing my Wild bill tribute shirt for the past 3 days and saw the 311 sticker on the gas tank sucked it up and banged some fabrication work out for him!!
