THE CARBONATOR
« on: February 13, 2016, 10:52:24 PM »
New chassis this year chasing our goals. All motor 400 ish lb chassis with a carbon tux, and rolling on BSTs. The motor is our 1580 LSR built motor from 2012. We updated the head and other areas we feel should help to reach our 180mph goal. This will be a 76" flat slick/slider, with titanium added to lighten the load for quicker acceleration.  Custom front rack sharing the role of a fuel cell / upper fairing  brace, and a custom lower seat height moly subframe. I'll try to post pics of the process.  While that's being finished I will be honing my skill with our Blue bodied chassis straddling a true stock motor stock hand clutch attempting to go in the 40s  by the years end. Should be a fun yr. My Bking is also on the 7sec list. The CARBONATOR's E.T. will be determined as we progress.

That is slicker than snot on ice..............what a skillset it takes to do something like that, is a bit beyond my comprehension.   :tu: :bike:

Almost done. Will be raced with the fairing (not shown). Not weighed yet but guessing about 400#. 265 HP.  Not as easy as a Busa to build but an interesting challenge.  LSL

All motor all the time and a turbo now and then.
