1993 intruder 1400 won't start.

Yesterday i charged my battery and installed it and when i go to start it it was making a clicking sound. I thought it was the battery so i bought a new one and installed it and now its not clicking at all. Also when i turn the key on i don't hear the fuel pump come on. All the lights and horn work but when i hit the start button it does nothing. Wondering if anyone has some info and could help me out.

I used to have one of those Harley killers but never had that exact problem.  I guess it could the starter.  A connection problem or short is probably what's happening though.  One time I found that my battery terminals were touching the metal box it sits in way underneath the bike.  After an unintentional sky high wheelie (that landed hard) mine ran off song until I checked the battery.  Maybe reinstall it making sure none of the posts are touching anything.  Maybe use some wedges to keep it in place and watch that the cover isn't touching either.  Good luck!

Starter motor.........might be shorted out.  Does headlight dim when you hit the starter?  Or, the starter button/switch itself could be bad.  Hard to chase. 

Dunno why that would affect the fuel pump coming on though...............that almost sounds like the ignition switch could be bad.

Check that clutch switch and kickstand switch are connected and working, make sure kill switch is ON.And bike is in neutral.
