thank you for your reply, if the clearance is less than in 100 ex 85, what is your advice ;remove a layer from the pistons or is there another option?Leave stock base, that's not clear#s, it's actual lift #s @TDC overlap, they should fall right in those lifts ranges installed per directions...if int has less, advance, if more retard, if ex has more then .085, back engine up, if it has less then, rotate clockwise from right side to achieve the lifts #s I suggested. Again these are not piston to valve #s or lobe centers. If you want L.C. #s. Do the math after setting where I said, you'll be right where your supposed to be per spec sheet.
