Aussie Speedweek
« on: March 01, 2016, 06:00:12 PM »
Speedweek for the DLRA is on right now and by all reports they have good salt. Heard my friend and team mate, Kim Krebs went 208 on her first pass on the rebuilt 750 that was lost to fire at Greg's farm. So she in now in the DLRA 200 club and is the first women in Australia to go over 200 on a bike. Good on ya ,Kimmie!!!

Have a Harley, spent lots of money on it, thought I had a fast motorcycle, bought a Busa, realized all I had was a fast Harley, not a fast motorcycle!

Just got a quick text from Greg about results for Black Art Racing at the DLRA Speedweek. Neill Finlay went 222 MPH, Kim Krebs went 212 MPH, and Greg went 213 naked which I think makes him the fastest naked guy in Australia :hys:---- and good friend, Mick Donohue got his licensing passes out of the way while Marg worked in the timing booth! Good show all!!!

Just talked to Greg on the phone, and all of Kim's, Mick's, and his runs were done on the rebuilt 750. He said the new Vipec ecu was fantastic and bike just kept getting better and better. Lots of runs, good salt, and Greg even took Bone's naked bike for a 203 MPH run!

Little 750 got to do a lot of runs this last week when the busa decided to be an ass and not rev beyond 8500 (sounds familiar ;)
It stayed home,

The pic of Kim is from last yr on the busa when we were trying some new fairings out.
That same top half  is on the 750 this yr for MPS  and seems to be working fine
and i rode it as M , much easier on the body than Bones custom framed busa , but his very small frontal area realy pays off
206 in the 1/4 and 205.9 in the mile
will try and find some pics ,i never seemed to find the time to take any

Former 500GP and World Superbike racer Kevin Magee ran 200.4mph on Ben Felten's Blind Speed Hayabusa.
Mechanically stock bike.

Blind owner Ben Felten managed 209km/h on a shakedown run.
K1 Busa
And stuff.
