Dan Oaks has overall Top Speed in Wilmington

One of our own members had overall top speed of the meet at 237.9693 MPH in conditions that were far from ideal. The fact that he accomplished this feat on a stock bodied Gen II with a stock swing arm at it's shortest possible wheelbase makes it even that more impressive!

This moves Dan (wildphil69) all the way up to 40th on the standing mile list. Quite an accomplishment!

In 4th gear I was having to roll out of the throttle a little but not bad at all

Dan has been working very hard at this,
and for a long time.

He has been thinking and building hard in
the off seasons, and now it is paying off.

I believe he has a 250mph
timeslip in his future !
