Fuel pump and injector question
« on: July 23, 2016, 12:16:38 AM »
I am replacing me engine in my mini rail, it had a GSXR750, not installing a gen I busa,
Does the 750 fuel pump supply enough fuel at pressure to the injectors?

Question 2, I purchased a motor along with a basket case motor, I need to use the throttle body from the basket case, is there a way that I can test the injectors to verify they are good without just buying all new?

If you are using the stock pump, switch to an aftermarket, I don't think it will keep up.  Which one... search this site for recommendations

OK, thanks on the pump, I'kk start my search.
anyone know how to check out injectors? I know they talk about the electrical check out but I also want to see that it flows the correct amount and has the correct spray pattern.

There are little shops that clean, check and recondition (filters, orings) everywhere.  My guy is in Valley Center Kansas, cleaned and checked a set for me a couple of days before racing, about 50-60 bucks.... oh, while I waited  :tu:
