Buell Pegs
« on: September 16, 2017, 05:51:26 PM »
First ride with  the Buell pegs
Milled have the required thickness half off each side to try and keep them as strong a possible
Made 6061 bushings for the diameter difference
People talk about lowering the shifter. I do not have a problem with the height of the toe tab
Seems like I want the toe piece longer, thought about having someone weld on a extension to it, Now I think I will thread the toe piece as it is .310 diameter and make a threaded part to screw onto the end to extend it.

Dragged pegs for the first time in a very long time  :huepfenicon111: made me feel badass and smiled
Caught a toe on the pavement with my toe under the shifter in a corner made me feel like a noob and frowned
So far they seem to be worth it, and a huge improvement in comfort
The shifter extension I think I would would like even with the OEM pegs
