How much can a stk clutch take ?
« on: August 13, 2016, 08:49:37 AM »
I'm at about 220hp , and I'm struggling with finding the right clutch pack that will hold. Just blew through a stk Suzuki set. Thinking how long will a drag pack last ? Maybe it's time to go lock up ?  All suggestions are welcome.

I have since turboing my Gen1 Busa 6 years ago used in it totally stock clutch, with stock plates and with APE the most strongest HeavyDuty clutch springs  !!!  Bike is at 320rwhp and no slipping issues so far in street or track .  Just swapped the fibers for in case last season and will swap those springs instead of new set this winter because I need springs for my new street torboBusaFighter build  :deathmetal:

I've seen a plenty of 250 HP nitrous bikes with strong springs last a full season using the Suzuki clutch pack.  BTW, I replaced my stock (the original 2000 model) last year in my 400 wHP LSR nitrous bike and it really didn't need it.  I have a simple lock up.
