No Busa...no bike at all right now!  Been spending more time on the water with the family past few years.  Just picked up this Super Air...I call it my Smithabusa special! :)

It's the challenge Red. :lol:I started skiing on 2 at around 12,then on 1 by 13(or 14,hard to remember that far back )and tried barefoot a few times after that but don't think my legs were strong enough. We had a place on Lake Shafer in Monticello,Indiana from the time I was a baby until I was around 16,spent every summer weekend there but pops finally sold it.Last boat was a flat bottom Rayson Craft SK with a Hemi, dual quads, etc.Had a lot of fun in that boat, even outran the water cops a few times in it.Pops bought it at the boat races in Kankakee(IL)when I was about 13 and I ran the snot outta that thing, was clocked at 92 mph when raced(which was fast for a boat back in the late '60's).Had chrome straight stacks,Casale V-drive(neutral and forward,no reverse )the old Moon gas tanks and foot pedal, etc.Pipes were so loud the cops eventually told us we couldn't run it until after 10:00AM on the weekends, guess it rattled everyone's windows.

Everytime I get behind a boat, I end up a little rough the next day.

I am not very good, but I also just don't seem to know when to let go. Tube, knee board, wake board, doesn't matter.

I've all but worn the skin off of the tops of my feet from being on a tube behind an Axis Wake boat to stay on. Basically end up barefoot skiing while holding the handles of a tube (tube pretty much completely in the air), just not with the bottoms of my feet.

Matt, have you looked at Wake Surfing? No rope at all, just set the boat up to make a smooth wake off of one side and let go of the rope on a short surfboard. Then ride the wake behind the boat. Nothing too dramatic, pretty calm actually, but pretty cool. People that have never seen it before give the weirdest look when you roll by with no rope. Pretty much need to have either a special wake setup for the boat or add on a "fin" off the side and have everyone in the boat sit on the "fin side" to let it dig and make a smooth curl.
Any day on a motorcycle like this that ends just needing parts and labor is a good day.

LOL  That sounds like a scene out of an episode of Tom and Jerry!  I'm cracking up!  :)

Surfing's a blast, so casual after a day on the water boarding or skiing.  I haven't surfed behind the new boat yet, but it throws a little bit higher wake than Kents Malibu so I'm looking forward to next season.  The guy I bought the new boat from threw in a wake-shaper, I can't wait to try it out!

It's great buying a boat at the end of the season as you get the best deal, but it sucks buying a boat at the end of the season because...IT'S THE END OF THE SEASON! :(  LOL

What's even better than seeing the look on someones face when you go by surfing behind a boat, is when you glide by 2' above the surface on a Sky Ski.  I don't think there's anything I've had more fun doing, and it's especially fun watching someone try for the first time.  OMG hilarious!  HaHa  :)  First time I tried a backflip on the Sky Ski I did a 1-1/2 and landed upside down right on my head.  It's nice because you don't need flat water at all, if you ride the foil just below the surface you could be going through major rollers and not feel a thing.  Also nice at the end of the day as it doesn't take any energy at all.

Damn, all this water talk has me jonesing now!  Put the boat away week before last :(

One and only Busa I have owned, have had it now since 2007.  Has gone through many changes over the years.  I recognize that pic PirateDiverJeff. Was a great time.
