21 Tooth Primary Sprocket?
« on: August 26, 2016, 06:24:58 PM »
Does anyone know of a source for a 21 or 22 tooth primary sprocket? I have a heavy duty countershaft. I have not been able to find a source - it seems they stop making them at 20 tooth. I am using my Hayabusa engine to build a completely custom race bike, and it would make fitting the engine better if I had a 21 or 22 tooth so I could use a larger rear sprocket.

Thanks
Don

Will a 21 or 22 even fit?  Doesn't it hit the clutch push rod?

Very good question Ransom! I just ran out and measured. A 21 tooth would fit but be close, but a 22 would be too close. I may be sticking with the 20 tooth I already have.
Thanks for your reply.
