2017 Suzuki Hayabusa Specs Out Nothing New :(

Dealer called me today they got a few busa spec sheets in and their website now has 2017 specs up and nothing has changed but new color schemes and some old ones. Seems those that thought Suzuki would wait another year or two before any changes were made to busa are correct. I am very disappointed they are not jumping on it this year. While I cant get my deposit back I can put it toward another bike. They also sell Kawi line so zx14 is a possibility or maybe another few years of a litre bike, will have to make some decisions before march. I would of grabbed another bike this year anyway but was hoping the new busa would of been the one. I might even grab a dualsport and hold off on street until...

Don't buy a ZX14 right now ....wait around for a year and see what the new 14 brings.   :tu:

IMO the manufacturers are going to sit on the sidelines until they have to start playing by the full set of EURO 4 rules.
Not only are they mandating emissions but ABS, traction control along with mandating OBD1 standardized to make sure everything is working as it was legally certified.
Going to be some changes a head.

Buy a leftover 2016 in early 2017 and turbocharge it with some upgraded suspension.  25K-28K bucks.

Of course it does make a difference on how much boost you run, but you can get by much cheaper.  Our local Suzuki dealer here was pricing '16 Busas in the 11,400 range (IIRC)...add a stage 1 turbo kit and you can't go wrong. Or buy a brock pipe, add a 40-ish HP dry shot; if anything goes wrong pull the dry kit (if it was done correctly) and return it to the dealer for repairs.   :lol:

Just going this route today. Posted 2015 busa question in gen II section just now.

Now i can actualy afford a turbo. What suspension upgrades? If its something other than extended arm and lowering i want to hear them as i dont do those two options on any bike.
