I miss my Gen 1 Hayabusa
« on: December 19, 2016, 08:17:34 PM »
About 3 years ago I sold my mint 02 1397cc Johnney Cheese built Hayabusa, I've  had a total of of 6 bikes all new.
93 FZR 1000
95 GSXR 1100
00 DRZ400
2002 Hayabusa
05 GSXR 1000
and now a New 2013 ZX14R/ with full pipe.
The problem is my ZX14R just doesn't feel like my 1397 bike, I had the ninja ecm Cbasted/ then put back to stock, Johnny Cheese will flash it for me when I send it to him. My new bike was a left over for 12,600 out the door(I could not by a new GSXR750 for that $), I can't stand the look of the new 08 and up Hayabusa , not to offend any one !! I thought the 1s gen was ugly untill I rode one, the new one's don't look as good as the 99-07.I hope the next 3rd generation Hayabusa looks better if not I'm planning on finding 1st generation bone stock and do a Turbo set up, and maybe be another and 1397 with 08 crank and 1441 it. Dam you Suzuki you ruined me, making a bike easy to work on, strong transmission, etc,etc My 14R is bad ass, but I just can't get over my Hayabusa! 😢
Maybe the gen 2 ain't so bad after all 😈 Bring on the 3rd generation.

Every time I see one I start going down memory lane.
I'd slap you, but shit splatters.

Sold my '99 Copper/Silver.
Have '67 Camaro now.
