Boost by Smith nitrous harness

Ok, so this may get complicated.
I've had this harness on 2 bikes before now with the PMR handlebar switch.
The best I can remember........the switch is off, the bike ran on motor map just fine.
The switch is on, we're spraying. I have NEVER used the mode buttons on any bike I've had. Always throttle position and RPM activated it.
NOW fast forward to my 3rd harness on my new bike. Toggle switch is on,  plug in the pig tail to the orange wire and it sprays upon desired RPMs and throttle position.
That's option #2....
Option 2: Have Toggle Switch in the On Position (requires 1 wire splice near ECU connector) / Window RPM / Wide Open Throttle

Turn the switch to the off position and the ecu still enriches as if it were spraying.

Now, on the first bike I was only spraying a 40 dry shot, so I guess I could of been enriching thru the ECU even with the bottle turned off and it wasn't enough to notice, but the second bike I was spraying an 80 dry shot. I would think that if it was telling the ECU to give me fuel and the bottle was off, it would have hurt my performance.

What am I missing here??

If it's going to spray with the on/off switch in either position, what's it used for?

First, I would check the ECUeditor settings.  It shouldn't spray with the switch off.

Ransom it does and according to Greg the only way the switch works is with the button.  I am trying something.

From the website:

Two ways to turn Nitrous On, best of both worlds from 1 harness:

Option 1: Push and Hold Mode UP or DOWN Button Entire Time You Want To Spray / Window RPM / Wide Open Throttle

Option 2: Have Toggle Switch in the On Position (requires 1 wire splice near ECU connector) / Window RPM / Wide Open Throttle

My ECU is activated to feed(add) the fuel even if my toggle switch is disconnected.

On gen 2 busa, the toggle switch just sends a ground signal to the mode up button.  You must select activation type: rpm/tps/mode button, picking rpm/tps it will spray everytime you hit desired rpm and are wide open even if toggle switch is off.
