Well I dropped the hammer last weekend.
Can't wait to try it out for awhile.
Magnetic suspension, clutchless upshifts, cruise, heated grips, seat. Brembos with ABS, traction control both of which can be shut off. And much more...

1301 CC V-twin and feels like a bicycle rolling it around the garage.

Take a look at these beasts if you haven't yet guys!

I'm a Busa guy inside out, but damn these are cool as hell!

That's the "R" model. the "GT" model (as posted in the pict) has an updated engine and enough changes to push the price up to $20k.

I've got a little of $20K invested I will admit, My Busa has more then that by the time I was done!

I've racked up 150 miles yesterday. Break in miles, so I was careful not to push hard!

  This is my honest assessment...

If you can afford one BUY ONE!!

It feels like a bi-cycle, a really stable bicycle, with a huge well designed V-twin powering it!

Magnetic suspension guys, It's the most refined suspension, I don't know if it can get any better!

I tried it on "street" mode, which is the middle mode for the longest. It was so good that you completely forget about missing any holes or bumps you could avoid, you simply ignore them and run them over to see how it feels and it feels like they don't exist!
The wheel feels planted all the time. You simply don't think about it. How weird that sounds, but you focus on avoiding the nut-jobs that surround us as we ride!
I switched it to "comfort" mode, thinking it can't get any better, and suddenly you're on magic carpet ride!
I haven't tried "Sport" mode on either the power setting nor the suspension setting as it's in break in mode for me yet so I'm just out stretching it's legs a bit.
Transmission. If you haven't experienced  clutchless upshifting, you're in for a treat. You let out the clutch to take off from a stop, lift your foot and never let off the throttle, and it just shifts. No jerk no clunk just shifts smooth and seemless exceleration! It's quite awesome and addictive to use!

Handling. Well if you haven't ever rode a Super Motard it will be hard to understand. This bike is so light on it's feet, and your riding position is perfect. You feel like you're in control of a bicycle that is completely stable and has effortless acceleration! It's geared tall, so 5th at normal road speeds is where you want to be, get over 75mph and then click 6. Some call it tall gearing, I call it perfect for the type of riding I like to do.
Heated seat (I added) and heated grips that come standard will burn you! I was riding in 40F degrees yesterday so they were appreciated!
 Cruise works great!
Brakes are HOLY SHIT! Brembos with anti-lock along with traction control are two features you can turn off if you wish.
Super light clutch, super light brakes, super light over all feel with a way adequate engine makes for what I can honestly say is a great value even at a bit over $20K!
Folks this bike is one to have! It's completely different then your Busa. Don't even try to compare them.
This is a riders bike. One you can pile on miles without any thought of discomfort or need for more power.
This is coming from a Turbo rider that has clocked a shit ton of Turbo touring miles!
I thought this one out for some time.
Read all the reviews, watched all the videos. There is just too much to tell you that is good about this bike.

The only BAD I can think of and I'm fixing it, is the exhaust sound. It sounds anemic. Slap on an Akropovich and get rid of that stupid ugly as hell rear fender and it's going to be something I'm going to ride the piss out of!!!
 Summary:
After selling bikes for 5 years, fixing other peoples bikes and racking up over a couple hundred thousand miles on motorcycles, I can without hesitating, in total honesty say this is ONE HELL OF A MOTORCYCLE!

I've been and always will be in love with the Hayabusa. There is nothing like it, overall that is, as compared to a bullet train!

What we need not forget is that there are other platforms that are just as fun but in different ways.

I like many different comfortable and fun bikes. I wish an American company would start making these type of machines.

Same with me, I love the Busa.
But it stayed still and everything else moved forward.
I realised a long time ago that British roads are in such a bad shape that the enjoyment of the Busa or any fast bike
was becoming less and less. The roads certainly have got worse and I man really bad.
So real world speeds where you can choose your line better are the answer for me and a lot of other bikers.
The adventure type of bikes are the big sales success now in the UK and I can't help but feel that the state of our roads
is a factor in that.

The fact is that on the same main cross country roads my ZR1100 air cooled bike is easier and more relaxed to ride at
real world speeds than the Busa ever was at the same speed on the same roads.

For the next Busa Suzuki need to go radical or if not, then carry on losing sales to the opposition.
The blue colour they have adopted is the most shite colour ever on any bike except possibly a Honda.
Ffs Suzuki, get rid of that smack ugly blue !!!!!!!
Looks like something like Hyundia would use.

Once again HOS you're correct.
The roads here suck as well.
If the others don't get on board with the functional bikes they are doomed.
I hear Yamaha is close to extinct ?

Being badly in debt, Harley had better change their ways or they will be soon to be over.. Sad to say.

But they can't seem to quit listening to the dying customer base and go their own direction with new and exciting bikes. The writing is on the wall..

Suzuki has to wake up and catch up or better the competition because they have fallen way behind. And for being a great company, that really sucks..
