Yes Ronnie, ours and Bonneville are like consolidated sand , in comparison to concrete in Bolivia,
The grader blades cut the top off the crystals to leave a coarse nearly jagged surface ,
where at Gairdiner 5% wheelslip is pretty normal and Bonneville i think closer to 8% , if you consistantly had much more than 2-3 % in Bolivia it will shred the tires
and no salt dust , yet the water is only a couple of inches below the surface and if it were less salty would be frozen
