STUNNAH:
Got to ride my '08 Gen 2 today, only fifty miles or so but man did I have a good time...High 70's maybe not much traffic so I got to twist the throttle just a bit...At 1st it was breaking up in the upper rpm's, but I'm guessing that was from having old fuel in before I filled it up...Got on a straight road and was able to go WOT it started breaking up then all of a sudden it smoothed out...I'm impressed with the Gen 2 it pulls hard thru the gears and I have to admitted I was a bit concerned because I haven't ridden in a long time but near the end of the ride I could feel the bike and my confidence started to return...Then I took my ass home and put the bike up...It has a lot of Brock's clutch mods and the heavy springs must be installed clutch hand and arm feel like "Popeye" I will more than likely try lighter springs and see how they perform...Other than that no complaints...I am not going to drag this bike...I am not going to drag this bike...I am not going to drag this bike...That should do it...It's official the "STUNNAH" is back!!! :pimp:

Hey Stunnah,

Nice to get back on the road huh. Do you have all heavy springs in the clutch? Ive gotten used to mine, but a boost compensated lock up has always sounded nice (looks cool too).

Yes sir it is!!!I haven't checked yet but I suspect their all heavy and my not being in riding shape has a bit to do with it as well...A boost compensated lockup would be really nice, but I promised myself that this one is going to stay as close to stock as possible just lowered and swingarm ext's...

I've toyed with the idea of buying and keeping a Busa mostly stock. I have very little faith that I wouldn't keep messing with it. For me it seems like "just trying a little crack" or "just putting the tip in"...lol.

I know what you mean "don't pull the panties down"... :aktion086: I still have my Gen 1 that I screwed up putting a velocity stage 1 kit on, damn bike has never run right since...Between that kit and getting screwed by a certain shop I probably have enough money in it for a pro-street bike...So I'll get it to a top shop next spring and pray for a joyful outcome...
