Why (does) it look that way?  Does 16 lbs refer to the psi in it?

How about no corners at all, and several severe burnouts.  I ran a worn out flat topped Dunlop K81 with around 16-18lbs as my 'slick' in the early 70s on my 852cc CB750.  It looked like that down the middle but it didn't have all those 'teats' on the edges...Ran a 12.20 with me on it (240lbs).  Woulda been an 11 second bike with a 140lb pilot.  Watch out for the threads showing!   So, am I correct?

Like Steve said, lower the tire pressure...16 psi is a little high.  If that doesn't do it, subtract a tooth to the rear.

Not trying to ask them to do more than they should ~ if you buy a higher number they'll last longer .  .  .

However, that also means that they will not stick nearly as well as the lower number tires !

What I've found out is that the 180 / 55 " HOOK - UP " works great for the drags.

I wouldn't ask that tire to perform well heading up to an Idyllwild ride !

The " ADVANCE " 005 would be my choice for curving roads .

The " APEX " 010 would last me a little bit longer.

Buy whatever you want to go ride with ?

I'm OK~ with a good Shinko.

Just my two cents here.

Thanks to all

I’ll try lowering the pressure first.
