New LSR venue in Arizona The Springerfield Mile
« on: September 25, 2017, 09:38:16 PM »
We have another new venue in AZ for LSR
I'm going to take my bone stock Aprilia and see how fast it will go.  Then the engine will come out for a rework and get it ready for Bonneville.

I'd like to go but hurt my motor at the Denver Mile. If this venue makes it for next year I'll plan it. What is the elevation? Will it be cold in the morning there etc.
Have a Harley, spent lots of money on it, thought I had a fast motorcycle, bought a Busa, realized all I had was a fast Harley, not a fast motorcycle!

It would be nice if a few of these tracks
and organizations would "stick" and be
around for more that 2,3 or 4 years

Right not. they seem like "Christmas lights;"
just blinking in and out of existence.

I ended up not being able to go,,,work is getting in the way of my fun.
Also they had stiff head winds for the event so I did not miss anything.
