Had a very busy trip for the TredwayStubbs Team!  Met a few cool guys and got to talk to few I've known for a while.  Thanks for the space.  We are now getting ready for texasmile.  Hoping to finally run with some bodywork if the Lord allows ;-) .

Good luck, Mr. 265 mph !

You are to be honored for taking
the "slow-and-safe" route by
also slowly adding bodywork.

That bike - with you at the bars - may
have 300 mph potential.  NOBODY will
remember if it took 3 or 4 years to reach it's potential.

They WILL remember the successes !

Live to race another day................

Ever raced there?  It's short... Gotta get up and get BIG... Here's another video @248 jumping up quick and using the whole track... https://youtu.be/iAbC8RHIR5Y

No I haven't raced there or any tarmac event,, have been just over 200 naked a number of times on salt, the wind pressure is unreal at those speeds,, have seen clips of many top fuel dragbike riders  come to grief in the braking area due to being caught by the wind,, not knocking you, just surprised at how soon you sat up, I thought that you may have washed off more speed before doing so 😎

Undersand-able and no sir wasn't meaning you were knocking me sorry if it sounded that way.  just pointing out the total length of the course being the issue (less than 8000 when subtracted starting line set-up).  Popping up at that speed nets you a solid -1.2 to -1.4' on the old accelerometer... (Extra air brakes).

Thank you Scott Guthrie up top and Yes this totally new platform including turbo setup and ms3pro ecu is now on it's second season and we see some daylight.  Exciting!. You know better than anyone what one run can do...  In this sport you can have a horrible season and turn it all around on the last day of the season... Considering our company among naked riders to this point I think the pace is right on time. it'd be awesome to finally click into 6th gear she hasn't had any use yet.
Maybe we'll get some good weather in there weeks at the mile here in Texas that would rock!

Thanks for the shout-out, Mr. 265 !

Yes, having a short stopping area
(Think: anyplace except maybe Bonneville)
makes for prudently quick getting on the brakes, and hard use
OF those brakes (that has been discussed in another thread)

Most of those of us who go over 250 mph on pavement are familiar
with the concept of "sitting up" quickly after the lights.

At 240, that is pretty butt-tightening the first few times.

After that is becomes much easier because you
have learned "how fast" to sit up, "how high"
to sit up, and how to actually stay on the bike without causing a wobble........
