Mr 311. Five Years Gone
« on: July 14, 2018, 09:06:34 AM »
Good Morning William: Hard to believe it has been five years, sometimes it seems like yesterday. They are racing at Loring and Bolivia today, we will see what happens. Ralph set a new FIM record at 291(I hope Al gets his bike there to make it a great shootout like last year). I know you are rooting for them to get  "the number"  like we are.  Running that fast for five miles, unbelievable. I think your 501 km/hr is safe. And Tuesday is the seventh anniversary of your record. You were waaaaaaaay ahead of your time. We all miss you my friend. Pavement LSR was never the same.  Say hello to Fred, they are having a celebration of his life tonight in Texas. Wish I could be there, but just hanging on myself.  God Bless.  LSL
All motor all the time and a turbo now and then.
